I’m so excited to share that for the third year in a row, our amazing friends at Sidewalk Angels Foundation, founded by Grammy-winning artist Rob Thomas, his wife, Marisol and her mother, Maria, have generously agreed to match every dollar you give to the SPCA of Westchester by September 30th – up to $10,000!

And there’s even more good news! In addition to the generous donation in memory of  William E. Griffin, another incredible supporter, Amy Parets, has also pledged $10,000 in matching gift funds in honor of her granddaughter, Lily. Amy is a generous supporter of the SPCA’s Briarcliff Bound Buddies program, which funds our life-saving partnership with the Mississippi University Veterinary School to rescue animals from high-kill shelters.

Your gift today will be doubled to save animals like our two recent rescues I’m about to introduce you to …

Gretal is a 3-week-old shepherd puppy who, despite her painful injury, wiggles her way over to every person she meets. Her little tail never stops wagging. Gretal is suffering from a severely infected paw that was so neglected it now has a large hole going through it, making it extremely painful for her to walk. We are keeping her as comfortable as possible but sadly, she may need surgery to have her leg amputated, which we’ll determine in the coming weeks depending on how well she responds to treatment.

Chloe is an adorable kitten who was rushed into the SPCA after being found wandering alone outside where she was most likely attacked by another animal. She sustained severe injuries to her face which resulted in the loss of one of her eyes. Chloe may be little but she is fierce and thanks to gifts from caring animal lovers like you our veterinary team was able to jump into action to help save her.

Please take advantage of this special matching gift opportunity before September 30th to support Gretal, Chloe and countless others that need you.
