SPCA of Westchester holds a summer camnp called Camp Critter.

Camp Critter

The SPCA also hosts an annual “Camp Critter” in the summer for children ages six through twelve. Participants have fun while interacting with animals, learning about sheltering, animal care, animal cruelty, and how they can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals.

At Camp Critter, your child will have lots of fun while making a difference in the lives of homeless animals.

We will...

  • Help find homes for shelter animals.
  • Bake dog biscuits and make cat toys.
  • Have fun while interacting with the animals, learning about sheltering, animal care, animal cruelty, and how kids can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals.
  • Take part in environmental and humane education projects, arts, crafts, games, and more.
